Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on Android in the UK, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of top theme park apps in the United Kingdom on the Android platform reflected diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Alton Towers Resort - Official saw a varied pattern in weekly downloads, beginning with approximately 4.7K in early July and peaking at around 7.5K in mid-July. However, the downloads declined steadily, reaching about 2.8K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at 6.5K and reaching a peak of 9.6K mid-July, before declining to around 5.1K by the end of the quarter.

The THORPE PARK – Official app experienced a gentle decline in weekly downloads from 4K at the beginning of July to approximately 2.5K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 4.3K and decreasing to about 3.3K by the quarter's end.

LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort demonstrated an upward trend in downloads through August, peaking at 4.5K, before dropping significantly to around 1.6K by the end of September. Active users also increased to a high of 7.8K mid-August, followed by a decline to approximately 4.6K.

The Disneyland® Paris app maintained a relatively stable download rate, ranging from 2.5K to 3.1K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase from 5.6K to a peak of 6.5K in late August, then slightly declined to 5.7K by the end of September.

Finally, Chessington Resort experienced a peak in downloads in early August at about 3.4K, with a notable decline to 890 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 8.1K and reaching a peak of 9.3K in mid-August, before dropping to 7.2K.
